Description
The Splendor Of Phang Nga Bay & Hong Island By Starlight
This program starts early afternoon, so that we avoid crowds of tourists. After being transferred from your hotel to the pier, you will embark on the boat navigating to the heart of the bay. A delicious lunch will be served on board. Whilst sailing through the spectacular bay, your will be given a briefing on the program, how to use the kayaks, etc.
After arriving at destination, your professional guide will escort you to the nicest hidden sea caves and into the “Hongs“(Thai word for “Room”). The cliffs surrounding hidden lagoons are populated with macaques, water monitors, kingfishers, mudskippers, egrets, Sea Eagles and Brahminy Kites.
This program ends after sunset with the releasing of you self-made flowered “Kratong”, surrounded by fireflies and dinoflagellates (bioluminescent plankton).
On the way back to the pier, you will be served a delicious seafood buffet on board (We shop daily for the highest quality and healthy ingredients)
ITINERARY
- 11.30 – 12.30 Pick-up from main hotels on Phuket Island
- 12.00 – 13.00 Arrival at Ao Por, Board our modern Twin-engine escort boat, Thai style light lunch & Nature Game briefing
- 14.30 Arrival at 1st island and explore 1-2 caves and hongs
- 15.30 Return to the escort boat and move to the second island
- 16.00 Explore 2 more caves and hongs
- 18.00 Thai seafood buffet dinner during Phang Nga Bay Sunset
- 19.00 Return to your kayak after dark to float your ‘Kratong’
- 20.00 Depart for Ao Por
- 21.00 Arrival at Ao PoR and transfer back to your hotel by mini-van.
- 21.30 – 22.00 End of program
